(More customer reviews)I love this book!I have been a fan of CCR for a long time, and trying to play Fogerty's guitar parts just from internet tabs and/or by ear, is extremely difficult.The Guitar Recorded Versions tab book is easy to read, has the all of the lyrics and multiple guitar parts all together. There are chord diagrams at the beginning of every song as well.I have been playing for maybe a year now, and this is my favorite tab book because of the readability, quality of print, layout of the information...and of course, it's Creedence.

For the money, it's hard to beat any of the Guitar Recorded Versions tab books from Hal Leonard, and the Best of CCR is no different.Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)I might have known better..really the only useful part of this entire book is the tab-section the rest is really unuseable for guitar players..and I think that is because the music of the Stones just doesn't translate well in an easy-play format (basic cord diagrams). Save your money and spend it on the few "play as it is" tabbooks avail. Heavens I wish someone would TAB STICKY FINGERS!!

(More customer reviews)There are errors in the tab.So far I have noticed errors in "Salt of the Earth" and "No Expectations".I am giving this 3 stars since at least someone actually tried to tab out and present "Beggar's Banquet" in its entirety.

(More customer reviews)Nowhere did this book indicate it was anything other than a songbook.The selection is certainly adequate for a general Stones repertoire.Chord changes to all the songs you might ask for are there.I have not checked the book for accuracy, but Stones songs are not known for their harmonic complexity.I just have to wonder about somebody that writes a negative review for no good reason.
