As my title suggests, this book is a good starting point to the study of Italian classics.

(More customer reviews)I'VE READ WHATEVER MATERIAL I COULD THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH MICHAEL CHEKHOV, BUT LISTENING TO CHEKHOV SPEAK ABOUT HIS TECHNIQUE IS LIKE NOTHING ELSE.FOR ME IT FELT LIKE CHEKHOV WAS SITTING RIGHT BESIDE ME.I COULD FEEL THE PASSION OF HIS VOICE.VERY INSPIRING.I RECOMMEND FIRST GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH CHEKHOV'S TECHNIQUE BY READING HIS BOOK "ON THE TECHNIQUE OF ACTING" AND ONCE YOU GET A VERY GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF IT, USE THIS AUDIO COMPILATION AS AN AID TO INSPIRE, AND KEEP YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE MAN AND HIS ART.SOUND QUALITY IS NOT THE BEST, BUT I'M GRATEFUL THAT ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVEN EXISTS, SO IT'S NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL.IF YOU'RE AN ACTOR OR WANT TO BE ONE, AND LOOK AT ACTING AS AN ART FORM, THEN GET ACQUAINTED WITH CHEKHOV AND HIS TECHNIQUE.THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT OUT THERE.
