The book is wonderfull and colorfull look at theorigins anddevelopment of jazz music from New Orleans at the start of the 1900s to thestartof BeBop in New York mid-century.As the fulltitle states, thisis "The Story of Jazz AsTold By The Men [and Women] who MadeIt".
