(More customer reviews)The staff lines seem a bit too thick.Thick staff lines serve no purpose.They "compete" with the notes.Razor-thin lines, on the other hand, allow the notes to stand out more clearly.

The quality of the paper and binding are very satisfactory.Too bad about those heavy staff lines.

No. 9: Carta Standard Paper (Carta Manuscript Paper) Review

(More customer reviews)I've used the Carta Manuscript for years. The lines are printed in a thin dark gray, which makes it great for writing in pencil. The paper itself is very durable and can with withstand several erasings without compromising the printed staves. The only thing I would do differently would be to perforate the pages and add MORE pages to one note pad.
