Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The band on the recording is excellent. The charts are easy to medium difficultyand mostly enjoyable. Everything is middle register--no problem for either tenor or bass trombone. The arrangements are a mixed bag.A few groovy tunes, some overly repetitious Latin numbers, one ballad and several rather dated ('40s era) style charts. Several offer a chance for solos. There is also a slightlyjazzed-up March from the Nutcracker Suite (that has no rests beyond an occasional eighth rest).Best aspect: playing with a very good band.Worst aspect:some of the arrangement are dated and/or not very interesting.
