Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)As a previous reviewer stated, this book is probably best for it's historic value, or for those who want to delve more deeply into Sor's teachings. This is *not* the book for you if you are interested in current or conventional classical guitar instruction, but Sor wasn't a conventional teacher or student.Sor created this method to instruct his pupils *his* way, to play *his* music (in fact, Sor did not believe that his music *could* be played using conventional instruction).
If you love Sor's music, you'll enjoy this book. It's not for everyone, but it's a great addition to any classical guitarist's collection, even if only for its historical perspective.
