Now as all viola players know, if you play in a school orchestra, it is very unlikely that you get to develop those skills. so you're pretty much on your own. I bought the book to teach my self the positions since my strings teacher doesn't cover them. If you played viola past the beginner stage and wonder what you should learn next, this is you pick.
