Carols Reharmonized is not done in quite the same form as Hymns Reharmonized. In Carols Reharmonized the words aren't listed on the last verse (it's music only) and the reharmonizations are often on the next page making it impossible to play the traditional version and reharmonized versions without turning a page. The score is in a larger print than Hymns Reharmonized. The arrangements are less hymn like using fewer cords and more individual notes. Some of the arrangements are a little dissident and very jazzy. It is a good book, but I personally didn't find it to be nearly as enjoyable or "user friendly" as Hymns Reharmonized.
