(More customer reviews)Bill Wolaver is one of my favorite piano arrangers.His talents are multitude.And one of the strongest is his ability to write jazz, gospel, and blues music.This book shows his talents to the maximum.

The arrangements are not simple; the are not "sit down and just sight-read the music" arrangements -- at least, not at performance quality.But they create exactly the right atmosphere for the individual song that he is arranging.

Bill has quite a musical gift, and I'm glad that he's using at least a portion of it to write down his arrangements so that others may play and enjoy them, as well.
