Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Granted I'm far from being an expert in guitar or other instruments, but I wonder why the chords Orbison played are seldom the ones in the book. For example, why that form of G7th all the time, when it just doesn't sound good? And why did they transpose down a whole step on "Crying"?Watch YouTube and you see he doesn't play those chords. And then there's the indexing issue. What is the organization?By date?Semi alphabetic? It's kind of hard to find a particular song in the book, if it's in there at all.
It's a cool picture on the cover.
And Hal Leonard's Complete Beatles (the white monster) is pretty good, but this book left some things to be desired, and included some things to be avoided.
