(More customer reviews)Of my rather large library of sacred music, this book is my all-time favorite.If you are a really good sight-reader, you will find the majority of these pieces to be very manageable after just a few run-throughs.Some of the pieces near the end of the book are more challenging and will require more practice.I use this book ALL the time - when I play for church, during weddings, and for background music during dinners.The pieces are of good lengthand usually have a lovely introduction for the hymn tune as well as interludes between verses.I would describe the music as very relaxing, lush, yet simple, in kind of a new age kind of style.I think you will find this book's cost well worth it, especially since it's a good 50-some pages long.My favorite piece in this book is the very first one - a utterly gorgeous arrangement of "In The Garden".I would highly recommend this book to any church pianist.Happy playing!
