With beautiful reviews of her recordings and stagework and Bassey's own thoughts on picking songs, dresses and performing, this is asuperb coffee table book too. But do beware for if you delve too deeplyinto the text, amazing inacurate facts can be found. For example every oneknows that Goldfinger was written by Barry, Bricusse and Anthony Newley,yet Bassey quotes some other non entity?Overview: Great pics, superbpresentation but did Bassey really write this?I suspect that it is ghostwritten but don't let this put you off. The only reason it gains 4 and not5 stars from me is the occasional gaffes that lies in the text!
