(More customer reviews)These Billboard chart books are a fun read for pop music fans who are too young to recall the years in question firsthand. Of particular interest to me are the charts from the '50s and early '60s. It's amazing how quickly some records rise to the top of the charts, and how some of them drop like a rock after their time has passed. These books are pricey, and are probably of interest mainly to those who are into statistics, but it's nice to be able to get a look at the musical lay of the land at specific points in time. These books may not be for everybody, for several reasons, but I like them.
