I would have always thought that the Beatles songs were more difficult but I got this book and realized that I could probably play about a third of the songs pretty easily. I have been playing guitar for a few years but am self taught so I'm not really that good but you can really play a lot of the songs in this book with 3-8 easy chords that you already probably know.
The other 2/3 of the book are more difficult than beginner with lots more difficult chords and the song selection is somewhat questionable with so many Lennon/McCartney songs to choose from but still you'll impress your friends with the 1/3 of the 75 songs that you do know.
Overall a great book for beginner/intermediat guitar players who like Chord Progression playing to some of the most well loved songs of the last 50 years.
