(More customer reviews)I love this book. I took classical guitar lessons for years but had not played the guitar for about ten years. I was very apprehensive upon returning to the guitar, because I couldn't remember much. Even though I had been reading music for violin and mandolin, I couldn't remember where the notes were on the guitar. I found the pairing of tablature and notation to be very helpful, and was greatly encouraged to find I could pick up my old repertoire from this book. Although I began by relying heavily on the tablature, I found my ability to read notation returning (from looking at both) and have been able to sight read from notation after working with this book. This book is rather comprehensive in including the most popular pieces of the guitar repertoire for the intermediate player.
