(More customer reviews)This is an easy to follow guitar song book.I am just starting to practice guitar and really needed to start with the basics--and I am happy with how Traditional Songs for Beginning Guitar approaches the subject.The songs progress from the simplest major chords to a broader range of chords which allows you to build confidence and ability at a comfortable pace.I only wish that during the 'vocal' segment of each tune, the instructor sang the whole song.Still, I have tried a few other instructional books with CD's and this is my favorite so far.Simple, easy, play-along style works well for those brand new to the practice.
