Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is one of the very best of any jazz play-along volume because it features Gerry Mulligan playing the melody/solo tracks along with his great combo for backup. You have a chance to listen and play-along with Gerry Mulligan on Baritone, and then the entire piece is played with only the backup musicians.
What more inspiration do you need to play these well known original Gerry Mulligan compositions? The recording quality is very fine, much better than some of the older Music Minus One (MMO) play-alongs and similar to the best of the Aebersold series.
Many of the other Hal Leonard play-along volumes have uninspired soloists, but this one beats them all.
This is the best of the best.
Have fun!
