This book also contains an analysis of each solo as well as favorite phrases and ideas that the student is encouraged to practice and add to his or her own jazz vocabulary. This book is part of David Baker's "Giants of Jazz" series, and that's how they all are.I also really like the Cannonball Adderley book from the same series. Here's a link:

By the way, this particular book has a lot of the same solos as The Best Of Sonny Rollins (part of the Artist Transcriptions series by Hal Leonard).
