(More customer reviews)This book has some very basic and useful information in it for any aspiring sax player. There are sections on scales, technique, effects, altissimo fingerings, and an interview with Boots, which is worth the price of the book all by itself. Along with all that, there are transcriptions of some well-known songs, including Boots's famous "Yakety Sax." I think if you were to just master the stuff in this small volume, you would have a firm grasp on all the fundamentals you would need to be a very good sax player.
