As stated in the product description, this is a SONGBOOK, menaing it is a collection of printed music of Jackies best known hits.
It's not supposed to be a biography, nor is it supposed to contain a bunch of photos....it's MUSIC!!!

Having said that, this is a great collection of MUSIC. I'm delighted to see that someone has gone through the effort of compiling this SONGBOOK because, with the passing of time, the late, great Jackie Wilson is being all but forgotten.

Unfortunately, there aren't many bands left who play his sort of music, and with people not knowing the difference between a biography and a songbook, I doubt this wonderful book will be in circulation very long.

Anyhow, if you like Jackie's music, and want to own copies of the printed charts, and or learn how to play his music, then this is what you're looking for.
If you want a biography, then buy something that actually says BIOGRAPHY. Don't diminish the value of this book by giving it 1 star...that's like giving a Pontiac a 1 star rating for not being a Mercedes Benz, makes no sense to do that.
